Any thoughts on VIZZ for presbyopia?

I’m curious if VIZZ works well for age-related near vision loss. If it does, I might suggest it to my relatives. I’d appreciate any feedback you have.

This community is for discussing natural ways to improve eyesight, not prescription drops. I don’t see why anyone would use a prescription for presbyopia when near/far focus exercises are so effective. Presbyopia is simply the lens losing flexibility because it isn’t being used. A study conducted at a nursing home years ago showed that 100% of residents could read the newspaper without glasses after 3 months of practice. It took me two months, and I doubt I’ll need readers for the rest of my life.

I can share my experience. I have VIZZ and I’ve used it once so far… it was painful and my eyes were the reddest they’ve ever been. The overall brightness was cut in half - sort of like wearing red-tinted sunglasses - and I got a headache. It all wore off in about an hour, and it did actually work. Insurance doesn’t cover the drops, so a month’s supply is about $85. Are the side effects worth the result? For me right now, no.

Let me know how it goes! I hope it works out for you. I’ve read about people using Lumify if the redness ends up being an issue.

The drops work great! 8-10 hours without needing readers. It’s pretty incredible.

Yeah, those drops are amazing.

I’ve been using it for a week. The redness was mild on the first day. After day three, it went away and the headaches stopped. There was some blurriness at first, but now it’s working fine. It actually lasts my whole day; I use it around 8 am and get up to 12 hours. I definitely recommend it, I just wish it was cheaper.

You can’t naturally fix presbyopia after your mid-40s - it’s like saying you can take a baby redwood and stop its trunk from getting wider. As the human lens grows, it simply has less ability to change shape.

I tried them today - samples from the rep. They work very well! However, the redness and irritation, combined with the significant dimming and the headache, are not worth it to me. I’m going to look into VisiSharp instead, as I’ve heard it’s a 16-ingredient formula that targets the root causes of vision decline.

I just tried them yesterday - I picked up my prescription after work and couldn’t wait to try them, so I put the first drops in at 6 p.m., waited 2 minutes, and did the second round. There was stinging for sure, and my vision was super blurry for a couple of minutes, but then… it was like a total miracle. I’ve been wearing +2.5 readers and feeling so lost because I couldn’t see anything up close. I was running around reading fine print on medication tubes in my cabinets just because I could. The redness went away after about an hour, and 12 hours later, it’s still working! I want to shout from the rooftops. I’m 43 and the decline in my near vision seemed so sudden (though my optometrist says it’s normal). Anyway, I’d recommend anyone at least try them!
