I’ve spent the last three years watching my vegetable garden go to seed because my hands and wrists just couldn’t handle the weeding and pruning anymore.
It wasn’t just a little ache; it felt like my joints were literally grinding against each other every time I tried to grip a trowel. It’s incredibly frustrating when your mind wants to be active but your body refuses to cooperate with even the simplest tasks.
Before finding something that actually worked, I went through the usual routine. I tried those massive glucosamine and chondroitin pills for six months, but they mostly just gave me an upset stomach without much relief. Then I moved on to high-dose turmeric, which I think helped a tiny bit with inflammation, but it certainly wasn’t the “cure-all” the internet promised. I even tried those smelly topical creams that you have to reapply every two hours just to get through a grocery trip.
About four months ago, I started reading about how we lose hyaluronan levels as we get older, which is basically the lubricant for our joints. That led me to try a supplement called JointGenesis (i order here, best price i found). I liked the idea that it was focusing on the actual “oil” in the joint rather than just masking the pain. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but after about seven weeks of being consistent, I noticed a real difference in my range of motion.
The best way I can describe it is that my knuckles feel cushioned again. I can actually spend two hours out in the dirt now without having to ice my hands afterward. I still have the occasional stiff morning if the weather is damp, and I’m careful not to overdo it, but the improvement is undeniable. If you’re struggling, just remember that consistency is key with these things; you can’t just take it for three days and expect a miracle.

That is so wonderful to hear. There is nothing worse than losing a hobby you love because of physical limitations. I’m in a similar boat with my knitting.

I’ve been on JointGenesis for about three months now for my runner’s knee, and I agree about the timeline. It took about a month for me to stop feeling that clicking sensation every time I stood up.

JointGenesis has been a staple for me since last winter. It’s the only thing that made the damp cold manageable for my hips.

How did you decide on trying this particular one versus something like the liquid collagen drinks? I see those advertised everywhere lately and I’m trying to decide which route to take.
The price of some of these supplements is what gets me. I’m on a fixed income so I really have to be sure before I commit to a monthly subscription.

Glad you found relief! Don’t forget to keep up with the gentle stretching too. Supplements help but movement is medicine.

This gives me hope. My wrists have been killing me lately.

Did you notice any weird side effects when you first started? Some things give me heartburn.
The ‘cushioned’ description is interesting. That’s exactly what I feel is missing in my ankles, just feels like bone on bone.

I’m still a bit skeptical of anything that isn’t prescribed, but I’m happy it worked for you. My doctor just keeps telling me to lose weight.

To answer the question about collagen, I actually tried the liquid stuff for three months before this. It made my hair and nails look great, but it didn’t touch the joint pain. I think JointGenesis worked better for me because it specifically targets the hyaluronan in the joint fluid itself, which felt more direct for what I needed.

Does it matter what time of day you take it? I usually take my vitamins with breakfast.

I’ll second the endorsement. JointGenesis is the only thing that got me back on the pickleball court this season without needing a brace.
