Finally finding some relief for my wrist discomfort

I’ve spent years dealing with that dull, nagging ache in my wrists and knuckles, especially during cold snaps. I tried the standard stuff—compression gloves, heating pads, and even those heavy-duty rubs that smell like menthol for days. Most of it felt like a temporary band-aid rather than a real fix.

About three months ago, I decided to focus on internal support and started taking JointGenesis (usually discouted here) every morning with my coffee. I also began a light stretching routine and kept a daily log of my grip strength. It took about four weeks before I noticed any real shift, but by month two, the ‘gritty’ feeling in my joints started to ease up. The combination seemed to work well for me.

It’s not a miracle cure; I still have the occasional stiff morning if I overdo it in the workshop. However, JointGenesis has made it much easier to handle my daily tasks without needing a break every twenty minutes. It addresses that hyaluronan loss we get as we age, which makes sense for the lubrication aspect. It’s a bit pricey, and you have to be consistent with JointGenesis, but for me, it’s been a solid addition to my routine.

That ‘gritty’ feeling is the worst. I get it in my hands too when I’ve been knitting for more than an hour. Glad you found something that helps.

I’m always a bit wary of supplements. Most of them just seem like expensive vitamins. Did you notice any stomach issues when you first started?

I found that adding more omega-3s to my diet helped a bit, but it wasn’t a night and day difference. Internal support is definitely the way to go though.

I’ve been using JointGenesis for about four months now and it’s been great for my knees. They don’t click nearly as much when I’m getting out of my chair.

Is it expensive? I feel like I’ve tried everything and my cabinet is full of half-empty bottles that didn’t do much for my orthopedic health.

For the wrist stuff, try the ‘prayer stretch’ too. It really complements whatever you’re taking. Keeping the blood flowing to those small joints is key.

Just ordered my first bottle. I’m 62 and my knuckles are starting to look like ginger roots. I hope I see the same results you did after a month.

I can second the recommendation. JointGenesis really helped with my hip mobility after a few months of consistent use, especially when I’m out walking the dog.

I agree with the OP. JointGenesis worked way better for my finger joints than the topical creams I was using for years. It takes time but the results are there.

Did you check with your doctor first? I’m always worried about interactions with my blood pressure meds.

Great to hear you’re back in the workshop! Staying active is half the battle when we get to this age. Keep us updated on the 6-month mark.
