Finding a routine for my stiff morning ankles?

I’ve spent years trying every menthol cream and heating pad under the sun for my ankles and lower back. Most just made me smell like a pharmacy and didn’t do much for the deep, grinding feeling. I was really hesitant to spend more money on another topical, as I’ve been burned by high-priced “miracles” before.

However, about two months ago, I decided to try Balmorex (usually discouted here) after reading about its specific blend of MSM and ginger. Unlike the greasy gels I used before, this felt lighter and absorbed much faster. By the end of week two, I noticed the sharp morning stiffness wasn’t lasting as long. By month one, I could actually walk the dog for thirty minutes without needing to sit down immediately after.

I use Balmorex twice a day now—once right after my shower and once before bed. It hasn’t completely cured my arthritis, and I still have bad days if the weather shifts suddenly, but the recovery time is much faster. It isn’t a cheap fix, but for me, being able to move more freely makes it worth the cost. Just don’t expect it to work overnight; you have to stay consistent with the application.

How long does it take to actually soak in? I hate that sticky feeling on my socks.

I usually stick to Ibuprofen, but my stomach is starting to hate it after all these years. Might be time for me to look into a topical alternative.

The weather definitely plays a huge role. When the pressure drops, my ankles are like concrete. Are you doing any stretches along with this?

I’ve been using Balmorex for my wrists for a few months now and it really took the edge off. I can actually type for more than ten minutes without a flare-up.

Is the scent very strong? I work in a fairly small office and don’t want to be the person smelling like a medicine cabinet.

To answer the scent question, it’s pretty mild compared to the usual stuff you find at the drugstore. It fades pretty quickly after you rub it in.

Do you think this would help with knee stiffness too? My left one is bone-on-bone and it’s making my morning walk a nightmare.

Balmorex worked great for my lumbar area. It’s not a magic cure, but it definitely helps me get through the day without reaching for the heating pad every hour.

I tried a similar hemp cream a while back but it didn’t have the MSM component. I think that might be the missing link for the deep aches.

Glad you found something that works for you. It’s such a trial and error process once we hit a certain age, isn’t it?

My PT actually suggested Balmorex and it’s been a game changer for my morning stiffness. I noticed a big difference in my range of motion after about three weeks.
