Finding a way to manage persistent foot and nail issues?

I’ve dealt with recurring athlete’s foot and brittle nails for nearly a decade.

It started back in college and just never fully went away. I tried the standard OTC creams like Lamisil, but they were greasy and the results were inconsistent. Then I moved on to tea tree oil soaks, which were incredibly time-consuming and made my bathroom smell like a forest for hours. I even considered prescription pills, but the potential side effects on my liver really scared me off. After some research into natural oil blends, I started using Kerassentials Serum (i order here, best price i found) about four months ago. It felt different immediately because it wasn’t just a thick cream; the oils actually seemed to penetrate the skin and nail bed rather than just sitting on top. My skin stopped peeling within the first two weeks, and the new nail growth coming in looks clear and strong. It’s been much easier to stay consistent since it only takes a few seconds to apply and it dries quickly. I think the key for me was the improved resistance it provided against the fungus returning. While I still make sure to dry my feet thoroughly after showering, this has been the first thing that actually provided long-term results for me. Obviously, everyone is different, so it’s worth checking with a podiatrist if you have severe issues.

Did you notice any staining on your socks? I’ve tried oil blends before and they usually leave a yellow mark that never comes out.

I totally get the liver concern with the oral meds. My doctor mentioned blood tests every month and that was a huge red flag for me too. Glad you found something topical that actually does the job.

I’ve had a similar experience with Kerassentials Serum. The clarity in my big toe nail improved much faster than I expected, and the skin around it finally stopped itching.

Make sure you’re also rotating your shoes and using a UV sanitizer if you can. It helps prevent reinfection while you’re treating the active stuff.

How did you decide on using an oil-based product over the medicated lacquers? I’m worried about the mess and whether it actually stays on long enough to work.

The lacquers I tried always chipped off and looked gross after a few days. I went with Kerassentials Serum because it absorbs into the nail and skin instead of creating a layer that just peels away later. It felt much cleaner for daily use.

Is it expensive? I feel like I’ve spent a fortune on different solutions over the last two years and nothing has stuck.

I second this. Kerassentials Serum is the only thing that stopped my athlete’s foot from coming back every single summer. It’s definitely worth the consistency.
