Fixing my approach to lower leg issues

I spent nearly two years chasing relief for the tingling in my feet, but I was going about it all wrong.

My biggest mistake was being inconsistent and trying to treat the symptoms only when they flared up. I relied heavily on lidocaine creams which were just a temporary band-aid, and I tried some generic B-complex vitamins from the grocery store that didn’t seem to reach the source of the problem. I even bought those expensive compression socks, but they just made my skin itch without helping the deep-seated burning sensation.

Everything changed when I realized I needed a more targeted internal approach and committed to a daily schedule. I started taking Nervala (i get it here, discounted!) every single morning with breakfast. The combination of the high-dose 600mg Lipoic Acid and Benfotiamine seems to work much better than the low-quality supplements I grabbed off the shelf before. It took about three or four weeks of sticking to the routine, but the constant electric shocks have significantly dialed back. I can actually stand in the kitchen to cook a full meal now without needing to sit down every five minutes. It isn’t a miracle cure that works overnight, and you definitely have to stay consistent for it to build up, but for me, it has been a total game changer compared to the messy creams.

I can relate to the lidocaine struggle. It works for ten minutes then it is gone. Plus it gets all over the bedsheets.

How did you decide on that specific supplement versus the cheaper ones at the pharmacy? I’m trying to figure out if the price difference is actually worth it.

I found that the cheaper pharmacy brands usually had lower doses or didn’t use the benfotiamine form. For me, Nervala was worth it because I actually saw progress after a month, whereas the cheap stuff just sat in my cabinet because it did nothing.

Consistency is definitely the hardest part. I always forget my pills by the third day.

Have you noticed any side effects like stomach upset? Most high dose stuff bothers my reflux.

I usually take mine with a full meal and that seems to help with the digestion issues.

I second this. Nervala has been the only thing that helped with my toe numbness during my morning walks.

Do you still wear the compression socks at all or did you ditch them completely?

It took me about six weeks but Nervala definitely made a difference in my sleep quality. No more jumping out of bed from cramps.

I’m going to talk to my neurologist about the lipoic acid dosage next week. Thanks for sharing your routine.

I tried B12 injections before but they were such a hassle to schedule. Oral supplements are so much easier if they work.

My doctor actually recommended I look for something with those exact ingredients and Nervala fit the bill perfectly. Feeling much better lately.
