How I stopped squinting at the morning paper?

I’ve been wearing glasses since my late thirties, but once I hit sixty, things really started to decline. I was constantly dealing with that fuzzy “halo” effect around streetlights and struggled to read small print even with my bifocals. I tried various drugstore brands and standard lutein supplements for years, but nothing seemed to move the needle.

About four months ago, I decided to switch things up and try a formula called iGenics (usually discouted here). I liked that it used the AREDs-2 ingredients but felt a bit more comprehensive than what I was finding at the local pharmacy. The first three weeks were honestly a bit disappointing. I didn’t feel any different, and I almost stopped taking it because I thought it was just another waste of money.

However, around week six, I noticed I wasn’t rubbing my eyes as much after a few hours on the computer. By the end of the second month, the biggest change was my night vision. Driving home from my daughter’s house in the evening became much less stressful. The glare from oncoming headlights didn’t seem as blinding as before, and the road signs looked crisper.

I’ve been using iGenics for four months now. It hasn’t “cured” my vision—I still need my readers for the fine print—but the overall clarity and lack of eye fatigue are huge wins for me. I just take it every morning with my coffee. It’s a bit more expensive than the basic stuff I tried before, and you definitely have to be patient with it. It’s not an overnight fix, but for my daily comfort, iGenics has been worth the commitment. Just keep your expectations realistic, as it took a good two months for me to really see the difference.

I’m in the same boat with the night driving. The glare is getting so bad I just stay home after 6 PM. Glad to hear you found something that helps.

Does this have any of that synthetic filler stuff in it? I tried a vision vitamin last year that gave me the worst heartburn.

The ‘halo’ effect around lights is the worst. I’ve been told it’s just part of aging, but it’s incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to stay active.

How much does a month’s supply usually run? I’m on a fixed income so I have to be careful with what I add to my monthly budget.

Six weeks seems like a long time to wait for results, but I guess these things have to build up in your system. Thanks for being honest about the timeline.

Did you notice any side effects? I’m always worried about how these supplements might interact with my blood pressure meds.

I tried those PreserVision ones from the grocery store for six months and literally nothing changed. Might be time for me to look into something else.

I started taking iGenics about two months ago for similar reasons. My night vision has definitely sharpened up since then. It’s a solid addition to my routine.

Glad to see this is working for you too. I’ve had a similar experience with iGenics over the last quarter. The lack of eye strain at the end of the day is the best part.

Does it help with dry eyes at all? My eyes feel like they have sand in them every morning lately.

I’ve been on iGenics for about five months now. It took a while to see the difference, but the clarity in low light is much better now. Worth the wait.

Make sure you still see your optometrist regularly though. Supplements are great but we still need those checkups at our age!

Thanks for sharing the details, especially about the first few weeks. It’s easy to give up too soon when you don’t see an instant miracle.
