I hit 58 last year and really started noticing that my ‘good eye’ wasn’t pulling its weight anymore. Reading the morning paper became a chore, and driving home after sunset felt like squinting through a fogged-up windshield. I tried those generic eye vitamins from the big box stores, but they didn’t do much beyond making my stomach turn.
About four months ago, I decided to get serious and switched to a more targeted approach. I started using iGenics (usually discouted here) alongside a few lifestyle tweaks. I made sure to take it every morning with a healthy fat, like eggs or avocado, because I read that helps with absorption. I also set a hard rule: no phone screens after 8 PM to give my eyes a rest.
The first few weeks were frustrating. I didn’t see any magic change, and I almost quit. But by the end of the second month, I realized I wasn’t reaching for my reading glasses as often for small labels. By month three, the glare from oncoming headlights while driving didn’t feel as blinding. I’ve found that iGenics seems to provide that steady support my eyes were missing, especially with the AREDs-2 ingredients.
It’s not a miracle cure, though. I still have days where my eyes feel tired, especially if I spend too much time on the computer. It’s also a bit pricier than the store brands, and you have to be consistent or you lose the progress. For me, it was about sticking to the routine even when I didn’t think it was working. I’m currently on my fourth bottle and the stability in my vision has been worth the commitment. Has anyone else tried this specific routine or found something better for the night glare?

I’ve had a very similar path to yours. I started iGenics about six months ago and the night-time halos around streetlights are definitely less intense now. It took a while to notice, but it’s there.
Same here, iGenics really helped with my eye fatigue during my afternoon knitting sessions. It took about 5 weeks to kick in for me, so patience is definitely key.

Glad to see someone else tracking this. I’ve been on iGenics for a year and my check-up last month was the first one where things hadn’t ‘drifted’ further. The consistency really matters.

Did you notice any stomach issues with this one? Most of the AREDs formulas I’ve tried in the past give me a bit of heartburn if I don’t eat a full meal with them.
I’m always a bit skeptical of these, but the night driving thing is a real struggle for me lately. I might look into the ingredients and see if it’s worth the switch from my current multivitamin.

The no-screens rule after 8 PM is probably doing a lot of the heavy lifting too! I started doing that and it helped my sleep as much as my eyes.

Does this have lutein and zeaxanthin in it? I’ve heard those are the big ones for the glare issues.

I’ve been trying blue light glasses for the computer work, but they don’t do much for when I’m out and about. Might be time to try an internal approach like you mentioned.

How much water are you drinking? I found that hydration made a massive difference in my ‘fuzziness’ levels throughout the day.

Thanks for sharing the 3-month timeline. Most people expect results in three days and give up. It’s helpful to know it takes time to build up in the system.
I added more leafy greens to my diet along with my supplement routine. Spinach and kale really do seem to help with that overall clarity.

Is it easy to find in stores or do you have to order it online? I prefer picking things up locally if I can.

Just wanted to chime in that iGenics worked well for me too, specifically with that dry, gritty feeling I used to get by 4 PM. It’s been a solid part of my morning ritual for months.

I tried a different brand for six months and saw nothing. Switched things up and finally seeing some stability. It’s all about finding the right formula that your body actually absorbs.
The night driving thing is the scariest part of getting older. If I can get even a 10% improvement in how I see those headlights, it’s worth it.
Appreciate the honest review, David. It’s good to know it’s not a 100% fix but a management tool. I think I’ll give it a shot.
