Are there any countries that offer surgery to treat dry macular degeneration? I am currently located in the United States.
I’m living with the wet form. I get injections in my eye. It isn’t fun, but it seems to be helping. Greetings from the Netherlands.
I just got my diagnosis last week, and the ophthalmologist didn’t bring that up. He told me there’s no way to actually fix AMD, just methods to delay its progress (such as eating plenty of kale and blueberries and wearing sunglasses when I’m out).
