My experience switching from drugstore creams to a more natural oil routine?

I’ve spent years hiding my feet. I tried everything from those smelly vinegar soaks to the standard drugstore creams, but nothing really stuck. My nails were always brittle and yellow, and the skin around them stayed irritated. I was honestly skeptical about trying yet another product because I didn’t want to throw more money away.

However, about four months ago, I started using Kerassentials Serum (usually discouted here). What felt different was how the oils actually absorbed rather than just sitting on top. By week four, the skin redness calmed down. By month three, the new nail growth looked much clearer than the old, crumbly parts.

It’s not a miracle; I had a plateau in month two where I thought it stopped working. You have to be consistent every single day. I found that Kerassentials Serum works best if you file the nail down slightly first. It’s definitely helped my skin resistance to that itchy feeling I used to get. If you’re looking for an overnight fix, this isn’t it, but for my stubborn case, Kerassentials Serum was worth the persistence.

Do you apply it just to the nail or the surrounding skin too? I’m dealing with some peeling between the toes as well.

Three months seems like a long time to wait for results, but I guess nails grow slow. I’m always so impatient with these things.

I’ve been using Kerassentials Serum for about ten weeks now and the results are definitely noticeable. The yellowing is finally fading from the base up. It’s way better than the harsh chemicals I used last year.

Make sure you guys are also rotating your shoes and using moisture-wicking socks. No product can win if your feet stay damp all day!

I had a similar experience with Kerassentials Serum. It really helped with my athlete’s foot issues that kept coming back every summer. My skin feels much more resilient now.

I was using a prescription lacquer for six months with zero change. Switched to Kerassentials Serum and finally saw some clear nail growth after about 60 days. It’s much easier to apply too.

Does it have a strong scent? I tried some tea tree stuff before and my wife complained about the smell of the whole bedroom.

Honestly, tea tree oil alone never did much for me either. It’s usually the blend of different oils that makes the difference in how it penetrates the nail bed.

Filing the nail down is key! If the nail is too thick, nothing can get through to where the fungus actually lives.

Keep in mind it takes like 6 to 12 months for a big toenail to fully grow out. Don’t give up if the tip still looks bad after a few weeks.

The pharmacy brands always dried out my skin so badly that it would crack and bleed. Natural oils are definitely the way to go for long-term management.

Did you notice any irritation when you first started? My skin is super reactive to everything.

Hey Phil, any update on your progress? I’m thinking about starting this routine next week.

Also watch your sugar intake! Fungus loves sugar. Diet plays a bigger role than people think in these chronic skin issues.

Great post. It’s good to see a realistic timeline. People expect results in 3 days and then quit when it doesn’t happen.
