Started feeling like my hips were made of rusty metal about three years ago.
I tried the usual suspects: high-dose glucosamine, turmeric shots, and even those expensive copper-infused sleeves. None of it really changed the daily grind of just trying to get out of the car or sit through a movie. Glucosamine always upset my stomach, and the turmeric just made everything I owned smell like curry without much relief.
A friend mentioned focusing on the fluid between the joints rather than just the cartilage. I started taking JointGenesis (i order here, best price i found) about two months ago. It is designed to help with the loss of hyaluronan that happens as we age, which basically acts like oil for your hinges.
Around week four, I realized I was not bracing myself against the doorframe every morning. The stiffness just felt thinner, if that makes sense. I can actually get through a full round of golf now without needing an ice pack immediately after. It is not an overnight miracle, and you really have to be consistent with the daily dose. I still do my stretches, but the movement feels natural again. It might not work for everyone, but it has been a game changer for my routine.

I’ve been looking at a few different things for my knees. How did you decide on this one over something like Move Free or just standard collagen? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the switch.
Glad to hear you’re back on the golf course. That first round after a long break is always the best feeling in the world.
I actually started JointGenesis last month too. My wrists don’t click nearly as much when I’m typing now. It’s subtle at first but definitely noticeable after a few weeks.

Is there a specific time of day you take it? I find some supplements work better with breakfast while others are better at night.

To answer KneeNeedsHelp, I tried the standard collagen for six months and saw zero change. I switched to JointGenesis because it specifically targets the joint fluid levels. For me, that made a much bigger difference in how my hips actually felt during movement.
I’m always a bit skeptical of these things but the science behind the fluid loss makes sense as we get older. Might be worth a shot for my shoulder.
Adding my two cents here, JointGenesis really helped with my morning back stiffness. It took about three weeks to kick in for me though, so don’t give up if you don’t feel it in the first few days.
Make sure you’re still drinking plenty of water. Supplements can only do so much if you’re dehydrated! Hydration is key for that joint fluid anyway.

Thanks for sharing your progress. I might have to talk to my doctor about trying this out. I’m tired of the constant ibuprofen cycle.
