Visual and neurological glitches
I am currently experiencing a very strange and frightening issue. For the last few months, I have been dealing with odd pains in my arms and legs, as well as chest discomfort and headaches. The most difficult symptom has been the tremors—shaking while standing still and my head twitching when I try to rest.
Things became terrifying last week. I was attempting to fall asleep while my head was still trembling and I couldn’t stop the shaking. I tried to sleep it off but only managed a few hours at a time. Since waking up, my brain hasn’t felt right. I can’t focus on anything; even just walking around and looking at objects is a struggle. My vision is clear, but it feels like my sight jumps every few seconds, which breaks my train of thought. It’s like a switch is being flicked on and off constantly. This happens every couple of seconds and won’t stop. It’s making me feel lightheaded and nauseous, though my memory is still fine. I can’t even watch TV or use my phone much. I’ve been stressing a lot about my health recently, so I’m not sure if my brain just reached a breaking point. I’m scared that something in my head is broken permanently and I’ll be stuck this way for life. I’ve seen a doctor and am taking anxiety medication now, but I’m waiting on blood test results to see if there is a physical cause. It’s been like this for a week, and it’s completely debilitating.
