My routine for consistent digestive health

Hello everyone. I wanted to share a quick update on my journey toward better gut health. Since hitting 60, things just haven’t moved as smoothly as they used to. I was dealing with a lot of heavy feelings after meals and just generally felt “off” most mornings. It’s frustrating when your body stops responding the way it did in your thirties or even forties.

Over the last three months, I’ve made a few conscious changes that have really turned things around. First, I started prioritizing a glass of warm water with lemon every morning, which seems to wake up my system gently. Second, I significantly cut back on processed sugars and late-night snacking, which I noticed were causing a lot of unnecessary gas and discomfort the next day. I also started taking a supplement called Finnesa (got mine here) to help support my liver and colon health, and honestly, it’s been the missing piece for my regularity. I feel much more balanced and less weighed down throughout the day.

The biggest takeaway for me has been consistency. It’s not just about one thing; it’s about how the routine works together. My digestion is finally back on a predictable schedule, and my energy levels have definitely improved because of it. It’s amazing how much better your mood is when your gut is functioning correctly.

I’d love to hear from the rest of you. Have you found that your liver health impacts your digestion as you’ve gotten older? Also, what are your “must-have” morning habits for staying regular? Do you find that certain foods are now completely off-limits for you? I’m always looking to refine my routine and would value your personal experiences and tips!

Great to hear you’re feeling better! I’m 64 and I’ve found that cutting out dairy made a huge difference for my bloating. It’s tough giving up cheese, but the lack of discomfort is worth it.

The warm lemon water really does help. I’ve been doing that for years. Do you find it works better if you wait a while before eating breakfast?

I struggle so much with the sugar part. Every time I try to cut it out, I last about four days. But you’re right, the gas is so much worse when I indulge.

I actually started using Finnesa about a month ago too. It’s been great for my liver support and I’ve noticed I’m much more regular now. Glad it’s working for you as well!

I’ve added a 20-minute walk right after dinner. It really helps move things along before bed. Simple but effective.

Adding my vote for Finnesa here. I’ve tried a dozen different probiotics and enzymes over the years, but this is the first thing that actually settled my stomach and kept me consistent. It’s a game changer for gut balance.
