Hey guys, I wanted to share a bit of what’s been working for me lately. Turning 62 was a bit of a wake-up call. I noticed I just didn’t have that “get up and go” I used to have in my late forties. It wasn’t just physical fatigue; it was like a mental fog that wouldn’t lift, and let’s just say my drive in other areas of life wasn’t what it used to be either.
I started making some small adjustments to my routine. First, I cut back on the heavy late-night snacks and started taking a brisk 20-minute walk every evening. It’s amazing what a little fresh air can do for your mood. I also started paying more attention to my vascular health. A friend of mine who’s a bit of a health nut suggested focusing on things that support nitric oxide levels to keep the blood flowing properly.
After doing some digging, I started using NitricBoost (i order from here) about two months ago. It’s a concentrate of nitrates and amino acids designed to help with blood vessel health and overall stamina. Honestly, the difference has been night and day for me. I feel sharper during my morning meetings, and I’ve got enough energy left over in the evening to actually enjoy time with my wife instead of just crashing on the couch.
My main advice is to not just accept “slowing down” as an inevitable part of aging. Sometimes our bodies just need a little extra support to keep things functioning correctly. Along with the supplement, make sure you’re staying hydrated and getting enough sleep—it really makes a world of difference. Would love to hear what you guys are doing to stay sharp and active as the years tick by!

Great post. I’ve been feeling that same afternoon slump lately. Do you find the walks help more in the morning or evening for your energy levels?

I swear by the 20-minute walk rule. Even if I’m tired, I force myself out the door. It usually clears the brain fog better than another cup of joe.

I actually started NitricBoost last month after my brother recommended it. My stamina during my weekend bike rides has improved significantly. Glad to see someone else having success with it.
Can confirm on the NitricBoost recommendation. I was skeptical at first, but my energy levels are much more consistent throughout the day now. No more 3 PM crashes at the office.

Interesting stuff. Is that supplement something you take once a day or before a workout? I’m trying to simplify my routine and don’t want a dozen pills.
Sleep is the big one for me. If I don’t get 7 hours, no amount of walking or supplements will save me. But good on you for finding a rhythm that works for you.

Appreciate the advice. It’s tough admitting we can’t just power through like we used to when we were 30.
NitricBoost has been a game changer for my gym sessions. I feel like my circulation is much better, and my recovery time is faster. Definitely worth a look for guys our age who still want to lift heavy.

As a retired GP, I always tell guys to check their blood pressure regularly too. Supplements are great, but keep an eye on the numbers so you know where you stand.
My wife is the one who nags me to walk. I hate to admit she’s right, but I do feel better afterwards. Might look into that nitrate stuff too if it helps with the focus.

Beets are also great for nitric oxide! I try to include them in my lunch whenever I can, but a concentrate is probably a lot easier to manage on a daily basis.

Good to see some positive vibes here. We’ve got plenty of good years left if we take care of the engine. Thanks for sharing your experience, Jim.
