I’ve been under an immense amount of pressure lately, and it’s taking a toll on my body through muscle aches, exhaustion, and feeling sick. While most symptoms improved as I relaxed, my eyesight changed right before I could fully bounce back. It started with a strange sensation—not quite dryness—and then my vision felt off. It’s not exactly blurred, but I can’t seem to focus on things correctly. It feels like there’s a transparent layer over my eyes, and everything looks surreal. I’ve been trying to fix it for days without success, and the worry is making it worse. Update: I saw a psychiatrist and found out I have generalized anxiety disorder. I’m caught in a cycle where my visual symptoms trigger more panic. I’m starting medication soon to break the loop, and since I usually manage stress okay, this should just be a short-term fix.
How are you doing these days?
