It isn’t actually a product, but rather the duration. Spending a full minute or more cleansing with Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser completely revamped my complexion. I’ve finally stopped breaking out after so long.

Azelaic acid was the key for me!

The most impactful change I made after 30 was switching to sleeping on my back, despite being a side and stomach sleeper my whole life. It really helped reduce acne and the appearance of fine lines.

I realized I had an allergy to the Cerave wash I’d used for ages lol. My skin looks flawless now just from swapping out my cleanser.

Copper Peptides were a total win.

The peel pads from Dr Dennis Gross are incredible. I also make sure to keep my skin extremely hydrated.

To be honest, a six-month course of Accutane was the answer. I didn’t have cystic acne, but every blemish left a scar, making other treatments feel useless until the acne stopped. Since finishing Accutane, I haven’t had a single pimple and can finally focus on repairing previous damage.

This might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I figured out I was applying far too much product. In my 20s, I’d use massive amounts of serum and moisturizer, which was a waste. Due to a tighter budget lately, I started using much less, and surprisingly, my skin looks much better now that I’m not drowning it in products twice daily.

Combining Asian sunscreens with Botox has completely refreshed my look.

Spironolactone was it for me. My acne worsened significantly after 30, becoming painful and persistent. Even without picking, it scarred. I expected results in three months, but it only took a week and a half to clear up. Now, two months in, my pores are clear and I only get the very rare spot from my glasses.

Nutrition. After spending thousands on countless products, the only real solution for my persistent adult acne was adjusting my diet to prevent blood sugar spikes. It feels like a miracle I didn’t think was possible after 20 years of breakouts.
