Why did nothing help my knee clicking and stairs until now?

I’ve spent the last decade trying every ‘miracle’ cure for my knees. Glucosamine, chondroitin, and even expensive injections provided only temporary relief. The grinding sound when I walked downstairs was constant, and I just assumed it was my new normal at 62. I finally realized those older methods weren’t addressing the actual loss of cushioning in the joints.

About four months ago, I started a routine with JointGenesis (i get it here) after reading about how it helps with hyaluronan. The first three weeks were honestly discouraging—I felt zero difference and almost quit. By the second month, however, the morning ‘stiffness’ started fading faster. Now, at month four, I can actually manage the stairs without gripping the railing for dear life.

It’s not a magic pill. JointGenesis hasn’t fixed my old sports injury entirely, and it is definitely more expensive than generic vitamins. You also have to be consistent every single day or the stiffness creeps back in within a week. But compared to the messy creams and useless turmeric pills I tried before, the JointGenesis approach to internal lubrication feels much more natural and lasting.

The ‘grinding’ is the worst. I feel like my knees are made of sandpaper some mornings. Is this something you can get at a local pharmacy or is it online only?

I’m always wary of supplements because I’ve wasted hundreds on turmeric that did absolutely nothing. Glad to hear you’re seeing progress on the stairs though.

I actually started JointGenesis last fall. It took about six weeks for me to notice, but my mobility is much better now and the clicking has mostly stopped.

Have you tried any specific physical therapy exercises alongside it? I find that strengthening the quads helps take the pressure off the joint itself.

Did you notice any stomach upset? Some of these joint formulas are really heavy on the digestion.

I totally relate to the ‘gripping the railing’ thing. I’ve been doing that for five years. It’s exhausting just getting to the kitchen in the morning.

Great write up. It’s helpful to see a realistic timeline instead of those ‘fixed in two days’ ads you see everywhere.

Does this help with hands? My knuckles are my biggest issue, especially when the weather changes or it gets humid.

Can confirm that JointGenesis works well for that ‘grinding’ feeling. My doctor was actually surprised at my last checkup because I wasn’t asking for a cortisone shot.

I’ve tried others, but JointGenesis is the only one that didn’t mess with my stomach while helping my ankles. It is a bit pricey though, like the OP said.

I found that cutting out nightshades helped me too, but the supplement route is definitely easier to stick to than a strict diet.

How many capsules a day is it? I already take so many things for blood pressure and cholesterol, I don’t want to add a handful of pills.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m at that point where I’ll try almost anything to get back on the tennis court. Might give this a look.
