I used to think that the puffiness in my ankles and the heavy feeling in my legs were just because I wasn’t drinking enough water or maybe because I was sitting too much at my desk.
I spent months forcing myself to chug a gallon a day, but I just felt more bloated. Then I tried cutting out salt entirely, which made me feel lightheaded and didn’t help the scale move at all. I even wore compression socks for twelve hours a day, which was just miserable. The mistake I made was assuming it was a simple hydration issue, when it was actually my body holding onto fluid it should have been releasing.
I eventually learned about how the AVP hormone can trap fluid in your lower extremities. I started using Flush Factor Plus (i buy here - usually best price) about six weeks ago. My biggest mistake early on was being inconsistent with the timing, but once I started doing the 7-second routine every morning before breakfast, I saw a huge difference. Within two weeks, my ankles looked normal again. It feels different because it’s not a harsh diuretic that makes you feel drained; it just feels like it restores balance. I’m much more mobile now, though results definitely took a few weeks of daily consistency to really show up.

The ‘drink more water’ advice is everywhere, but nobody talks about what happens when your body can’t actually process it correctly. I’ve been there.

I’ve never heard of that AVP hormone. Is that related to cortisol? I feel like once I hit 45, my body just started hoarding fluid for no reason.

Compression socks are the absolute worst in the summer. I gave up on those after a week. Glad you found something that actually works for the drainage.

How did you decide on this method over those dandelion root teas or standard water pills? Did you try those first?

The salt thing is a myth for a lot of people. If you go too low on sodium, your body actually holds onto more water to compensate.
I did try the dandelion tea and some OTC diuretics, but they just made me run to the bathroom without actually reducing the swelling in my feet. Flush Factor Plus felt different because it seemed to target the underlying AVP issue rather than just stripping my body of all electrolytes.

I’ve been using Flush Factor Plus for about a month now and the heaviness in my calves is finally starting to lift. It’s subtle at first but then you notice your shoes fit better.

Do you have to change your diet a lot while taking it? I’m already doing low carb and don’t want to switch things up too much.
Getting older is just a constant battle with inflammation. It’s exhausting trying to find the ‘right’ amount of hydration.

Make sure you’re still getting enough electrolytes if you’re flushing that much fluid out. Magnesium and potassium are key.

The 7-second trick with Flush Factor Plus really helped my morning mobility. I used to wake up with such stiff ankles and it’s much better now.
I was skeptical at first too, but Flush Factor Plus actually worked for my ankle swelling when nothing else did. Consistency is definitely the key like the OP said.
