I spent years thinking that if my digestion was off, I just needed more fiber. I was wrong. For a long time, I just felt heavier and more bloated every time I added more roughage. My mistake was ignoring how my liver and gut needed to work together.
I switched my routine about four months ago to focus on a more balanced approach. After adding Finnesa (ordered here) to my morning routine, the first two weeks were actually a bit rocky. I felt a little more gassy than usual, which almost made me quit. However, by the end of the first month, the “heavy” feeling after dinner started to lift.
Unlike the harsh laxatives I tried before, Finnesa felt much gentler on my system. By month three, I noticed I wasn’t planning my day around bathroom proximity anymore. I’m even back to eating salads without fear. It’s not a miracle—I still have to watch my sugar intake—but Finnesa has definitely stabilized my gut balance. Just be prepared to drink plenty of water, or it won’t work as well.

I’ve had a very similar path. I started Finnesa about six months ago and the difference in my liver health markers and daily digestion is night and day. It definitely takes time to see the full shift though.

Glad you mentioned the water thing. I use Finnesa too and if I don’t hit my water goals, I don’t see the same results. But when I’m consistent, I feel much lighter and less sluggish after meals.

Did you change your diet at the same time or just add the supplement? I’m curious if this works without cutting out all the things I actually like to eat.

Finnesa was the only thing that helped my colon sluggishness after my gallbladder surgery. It’s been a staple for me since last year because it supports the liver too, which most gut pills ignore.

I’m always a bit wary of anything claiming to help the liver. Did you talk to your doctor before starting? I’ve been considering something like this but I’m on blood pressure meds.

How much fiber were you taking before? I think I might be overdoing it too. Every time I eat a big bowl of oats I feel like I’ve swallowed a brick.
Usually, when you add a new supplement, you should give it at least 90 days. Most people quit after a week when they don’t see a miracle. Good on you for sticking through the ‘gassy’ phase.
Is it a capsule or a powder? I have a lot of trouble swallowing those horse-pill sized vitamins.

I tried the fiber-only route too. Terrible mistake. My doctor told me it was like creating a traffic jam in my intestines because my system wasn’t moving fast enough to handle it.
At 62, I’ve realized my gut isn’t what it used to be. I might have to look into this approach. The ‘heavy’ feeling after a simple dinner is getting really old.
The ‘heavy’ feeling is honestly the worst part of getting older. It ruins the whole evening. Good to hear you finally found some relief that actually lasts.
