Why I stopped focusing only on external drops for my eye health?

I spent years thinking that itchy, tired eyes were just part of getting older. My first mistake was dumping generic wetting drops into my eyes every hour. It felt okay for ten minutes, but the underlying strain never went away. I also tried those cheap grocery store multivitamins, but they didn’t do much for my actual clarity.

About four months ago, I shifted focus toward defending against oxidant damage from the inside. I started taking Vision20 consistently with my breakfast. The first few weeks were slow; I didn’t feel anything and almost quit. However, by month two, I noticed I wasn’t rubbing my eyes as much while reading. Now, at month four, the screen glare doesn’t bother me nearly as much.

It’s not a miracle cure—I still need my reading glasses for fine print—but Vision20 has definitely helped stabilize my decline. Just remember that results take time. If you expect a fix overnight, you’ll be disappointed. I’ve found that Vision20 works best when I also stay hydrated and take screen breaks.

I’m in the same boat with the drops. I feel like I’m just washing my eyes out for no reason half the time. Do you take this with food?

The ‘grocery store multivitamin’ mistake is so real. I think most of those just pass right through you without doing a thing.

Always good to check with an optometrist first, but I agree that internal health is often overlooked for eyes. Glad you found something that works.

Have you noticed any difference with night driving? That’s my biggest struggle lately with the glare from LED headlights.

I tried a similar supplement last year but gave up after three weeks. Maybe I didn’t give it enough time based on your timeline.

Four months is a long commitment if you aren’t seeing immediate results. I admire your persistence. I usually quit after a month if I don’t see a change.

Thanks for being honest about still needing reading glasses. Too many people claim these things cured everything 100%.

Any weird side effects like an upset stomach? I have a sensitive gut so I’m always nervous about new pills.

I’ve been looking into oxidant damage lately too. It makes sense that our eyes need protection from the inside out just like our skin.

I actually started Vision20 about six months ago for similar reasons. My night vision isn’t perfect, but the sharpness is definitely better than it was last summer.

I found that changing my office lighting helped a bit too, but I might add a supplement to the mix.

I’ll second the recommendation for Vision20. It took about 10 weeks for me to notice, but my eyes don’t feel nearly as ‘sandy’ at the end of the day now.

Is this something you have to take forever or can you cycle off it once you feel better?

The timeline is the hardest part. We are so used to instant fixes with modern medicine, but natural support usually takes a season to show up.

I’ve had a great experience with Vision20 too. It didn’t fix my prescription, but it certainly stopped that constant dull ache I used to get after reading the news.
