Why my vision was actually fading

Hi everyone. I turned 62 last spring and noticed I was squinting at everything, even with my new bifocals. I thought it was just the “price of admission” for getting older, but I realized I was making some silly mistakes. First, I spent way too much time indoors under those harsh LED lights. We need natural light to keep our internal systems firing. I also learned that our eyes aren’t just cameras; they are connected to receptors in the brain that can get “lazy” if we don’t support them.

I started looking into how to wake up those receptors. A friend suggested I try a dropper formula called Eyefortin (i order from here) that focuses on glutamate receptors. I was skeptical at first, but after a few weeks, the “fogginess” I felt in the afternoons started to lift. It wasn’t just about the prescription; it was about giving my brain the right nutrients to process what I was seeing.

Another mistake was ignoring eye fatigue. I used to push through the dry, scratchy feeling while reading on my tablet. Now, I take breaks every 20 minutes and try to look at something far away. It sounds simple, but these small shifts in habit, combined with the right support, have made a world of difference. I’m curious if anyone else has found that their vision issues were more about lifestyle and nutrition than just needing a stronger lens?

I definitely relate to the tablet issue. I spend hours on my Kindle and then wonder why I can’t see the TV clearly afterwards. I’ll try that 20-minute rule.

The indoor lighting thing is huge. I started sitting by the window for my morning coffee instead of in the kitchen under the fluorescents and my eyes feel much less strained by noon.

Is the brain receptor thing actually proven? I always thought it was just about the physical shape of the eye changing as we age.

Dave, the science on glutamate receptors is actually quite fascinating. There is a lot of research coming out of the big universities about how our brains process visual signals.

I’ve been using Eyefortin for about a month now too. My night vision has definitely improved, especially when driving home from the grandkids’ house. It’s much easier to see the road signs now.

I second the mention of Eyefortin. I was struggling with dark spots and blurry patches, but this dropper has really helped clear things up for me. It’s a relief not to feel so ‘dim’ all the time.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s nice to hear something other than ‘just get stronger glasses.’

How long did it take before you noticed a difference? I’m 65 and looking for something to help with the midday blurriness.
