Why standard eye drops and vitamins didn't help me

I hit sixty last year and realized I was becoming that person who couldn’t read the menu at dinner without a flashlight.

It was embarrassing and made me feel much older than I actually am. I tried everything the standard blogs suggest. I used those expensive lubricating drops four times a day, bought the blue light blocking glasses for my computer time, and even took those generic multivitamins from the grocery store for six months straight. Nothing really changed; my night driving was still terrifying because of the glare and everything just felt slightly out of focus all the time.

About three months ago, I decided to try something more specific called iGenics (usually discouted here) because it uses that AREDs-2 formula I kept reading about in medical journals. Unlike the generic stuff, this felt like it actually addressed the health of my eyes from the inside. Within the first month, I noticed the fuzziness around streetlights at night started to diminish. It wasn’t an overnight miracle, but for the first time in years, my eyes didn’t feel constantly fatigued by 4 PM. It’s been much easier to stay consistent with this than with messy drops. Of course, everyone is different and you should still see your optometrist, but this really filled the gap for me and provided much-needed clarity during my evening walks.

I can relate to the menu thing. It is so frustrating when you feel like you are losing your independence over something like reading a piece of paper.

Which drops were you using? I have tried three different brands and they all just make my eyes sting for ten minutes without helping the blurriness.

How did you decide on this specific one? I have seen so many different brands at the pharmacy and online, did you compare it to the others before buying?

I started taking iGenics last fall and the difference in my reading vision is definitely there. It took about six weeks for me to really notice, but it is worth the wait.

Always good to hear a success story, but make sure you are still getting your eye pressure checked regularly. Supplements are great but they don’t replace the doctor.

Does it cause any stomach upset? I have a sensitive stomach with most vitamins and usually have to take them with a full meal.

Thanks for sharing this. I am tired of the constant eye strain from my office job.

The night driving glare is the absolute worst. I stopped going out after 6 PM because the halos around headlights were just too much for me to handle safely.

My sister recommended iGenics to me after her cataract surgery and it really helped her recovery and clarity. I have been thinking about trying it myself.

Is it expensive? I am on a fixed income and trying to balance all these health costs is getting tricky.

I looked at a few others, but I chose iGenics because it had the exact AREDs-2 ratios without a bunch of extra fillers. Most pharmacy brands have lower concentrations of the actual lutein and zeaxanthin that you need, so I felt this was a better value in the long run.

I have been trying to eat more kale and carrots too, but it is hard to eat enough to make a real difference in my eyesight.

I have been on iGenics for two months now and I do not get that late afternoon eye strain anymore. It is nice to not have a headache by the end of the day.
