Worried about a possible E. Coli infection

I am a 19-year-old female working at a New England lake beach that most people consider quite clean. Part of my job involves picking up Canadian goose droppings; while I don’t handle it directly, the waste occasionally gets on the bucket handle. I’m never quite sure when it was last contaminated since I share the tools with others. Today, after clearing some waste (which didn’t hit the handle this time) and watering the plants, I began eating my sandwich before realizing I’d skipped the hand sanitizer. I applied some quickly and finished eating. I’ve probably done this before without issue, but I am currently terrified that I might have E. Coli. It’s worth noting that I deal with an anxiety disorder and health-related fixations. I tend to convince myself I’m sick when I’m under stress or right before my period starts. I am in therapy, though I haven’t mentioned this specific worry to her yet. If anyone could weigh in on whether they think I’m actually at risk, I would really appreciate it.
