Any tips for cloudy close-up vision?

I’m 58 and recently I’ve noticed that reading the paper or looking at my phone in the evening has become a real chore. It felt like a constant film over my eyes that blinking wouldn’t clear. I was getting frustrated because my prescription seemed fine but the clarity wasn’t.

Q: What did I try first? I started with those high-dose drugstore multivitamins, but they just made my stomach upset and didn’t seem to change anything after two months. Then I tried blue-light glasses, which helped with the screen glare at night but didn’t do anything for the actual fuzziness I felt during the day. I even tried those expensive preservative-free drops, but they were just a temporary fix for dryness, not the actual vision quality.

Q: What actually made a difference? About three months ago, I started taking Vision20 (i order here, best price i found). I was skeptical because I’ve been burned by supplements before, but the science behind targeting oxidant damage in the eye and strengthening the cells against age-related decline made sense to me.

Q: How long did it take? It wasn’t overnight. The first two weeks, I didn’t notice much at all. But by week four, I realized I wasn’t squinting as much at my tablet while sitting on the porch. The cloudy feeling started to lift, especially in the mornings when I used to feel the most strain.

Q: Why did this stick when others didn’t? It feels like it’s actually supporting the eye from the inside rather than just dealing with surface symptoms. It’s one capsule, no weird aftertaste, and most importantly, it doesn’t bother my digestion like the generic multis did. I still see my eye doctor twice a year, but this has been a great addition to my daily routine. Just remember to give it time and stay consistent with it.

I get that film feeling too, especially after driving. Did you find it worse at night or during the day?

Vision20 has been a staple for me since last Christmas. My night driving glare is way more manageable now.

How did you decide on this specific one over the generic AREDS2 formulas you see everywhere? I’ve been looking at a few different brands but can’t tell the difference.

I’ve tried those drops too, they are so expensive for what they are. Good to know about the stomach issues with the multis, I had the same problem.

I found that increasing my leafy greens helped a bit too, but it’s hard to eat that much kale every single day.

Turning 60 next month and my eyes are definitely my biggest complaint right now. Everything just feels tired.

GolfGuyDan, I looked at the generic stuff but I liked that Vision20 focused more on the oxidant damage specifically. The generic ones felt like they were just dumping every vitamin in there without much thought. For me, the targeted approach felt more effective.

I’m on my second bottle of Vision20 and the biggest change for me is not needing the bright reading lamp as much. It definitely helps with that age-related decline.
