Comparing the impact of honey and propolis vs acyclovir on HSV-1

Both honey and propolis act as strong antivirals for treating oral and genital herpes. In terms of healing HSV-related sores, honey actually showed better results than acyclovir.

On average, honey helped herpetic lesions fully heal within 8 days of use.

Honey is just as effective as acyclovir at minimizing the pain associated with these lesions.

Furthermore, propolis demonstrates superior healing capabilities for herpetic sores when compared to acyclovir.

That’s fine, but this only applies to topical application during an active outbreak rather than for suppression or prevention. I really wish it could help with that part.

I take neem. It offers many perks and is great for strengthening the immune system. I used to have outbreaks 2 or 3 times every month, but after three months on neem, I haven’t had a single one. I had an outbreak right before I started, and it cleared in 3 days, whereas antivirals often took a week or more. One cup a day keeps them away. I hope this helps someone else as much as it helped me

I’ve tried using honey. It stops the stinging sensation immediately, and every time I put it on, the outbreak seems to vanish by the following day. Granted, my outbreaks are usually just two small dots these days anyway.

Manuka Honey is the most effective choice!

It works just like a topical cream. Have you never used any type of medicine before?
