I went to Rebalance. While the medical staff and care were excellent, my file got lost during a specialist hand-off. I only got an appointment because I followed up myself. They were quite sorry about the mix-up and managed to slot me in during a cancellation. You should definitely ask your referring physician to check your status on the list urgently if your condition is severe.
The wait usually hinges on the severity of the condition. Personally, I find a long wait somewhat reassuring. I had mine done at a hospital this past autumn after only a few weeks because my family medical history suggested higher risk. Conversely, a relative was seen in under 8 hours but required emergency spinal surgery immediately after.
