Hello everyone,
I’m sharing my experience here in hopes that it might assist others facing similar challenges.
A long time ago, I began experiencing mental cloudiness without understanding what it was. I was going through a rough patch—a breakup, persistent shoulder pain, and a job I disliked. Given my family’s history of depression and my own chronic insomnia, I assumed it was just a result of poor mental health and lack of sleep. After years of unsuccessful therapy and sleep clinics, I eventually gave up hope.
Last month, my back seized up entirely, leading me to visit a physiotherapist. He adjusted eight different areas in my back. We also talked about my old shoulder problem that previous therapists couldn’t fix. It turned out to be a blockage in my neck. Once he adjusted it, I woke up the next day feeling like the eight-year fog that ruined my career and personal life had vanished. My mental clarity went from zero to a hundred instantly, and I’ve felt great for a week now.
If you’re dealing with long-term pain or injuries, I’d encourage you to keep searching for answers and consult various specialists.
Wishing everyone the best.
Edit: Thank you for the support. I’ve received several technical inquiries that I can’t answer yet. I have a follow-up in two weeks and will ask for more details then. I’ll update the post with whatever information he provides.
Update: I just had my follow-up session. The therapist mentioned that brain fog often stems from poor posture or physical blockages (muscular or circulatory). It’s frequently accompanied by tension headaches or a feeling of pressure in the forehead area.
