Finally finding some relief for the buzzing and numbness in my feet?

I’ve spent the last four years trying to ignore the weird sensations in my toes and heels. At first, I thought it was just bad shoes or getting older, but it turned into this persistent buzzing that made sleeping difficult. I tried the heavy compression socks and several over-the-counter lidocaine creams, but they only provided temporary relief. The creams were messy and the socks were too tight for sleeping. I was really skeptical about spending more money on things that didn’t work.

About five months ago, my daughter mentioned a specific approach involving high-dose lipoic acid and benfotiamine. I eventually decided to try Nervala (i buy here) after reading about how those two ingredients work together for nerve health. I didn’t expect much, and for the first three weeks, I honestly felt nothing. I almost stopped taking it because it felt like another waste of cash.

By the end of the second month, I noticed the “electric” feeling when I laid down at night wasn’t as sharp. It wasn’t gone, but it was quieter. Now that I’ve been on Nervala for nearly half a year, I can actually go for my morning walks without dreading the aftermath. It’s a huge difference compared to the creams which just numbed the skin without touching the actual problem.

That said, it isn’t perfect. It took a long time to kick in, and if I miss a dose, I feel it the next day. It’s also a bit pricier than basic vitamins. For me, the consistency was the hardest part, but it’s been worth it to get some mobility back. It might not work for everyone, but if you’re tired of the topical stuff, it’s a solid option to look into. Nervala has definitely earned a spot in my daily routine.

How much does this cost per month? I’m on a fixed income and everything seems so expensive lately.

I’ve been taking Nervala for a few months now and it really helped with my nighttime toe cramps. It’s not a miracle but it’s better than anything else I tried.

Did you change your diet at all? I found cutting back on sugar helped a bit too.

I’ve tried ALA before but it gave me heartburn. Did you have any issues with that?

The compression socks are the worst in the summer. I can’t stand them when it’s hot out.

That buzzing feeling is exactly how I describe it to my doctor. He just shrugs his shoulders half the time.

I second the Nervala recommendation. I noticed a difference in my balance after about two months of consistent use.

Is this something you have to take forever or can you cycle off it once you feel better?

I tried a generic version of those ingredients but didn’t see much. Maybe the dosage was too low?

OP, how many capsules do you take a day? I’m already taking so many pills for other things.

Nervala has been a game changer for the burning in my feet during long car rides. Worth the price in my opinion.

Glad you found something that works. It’s such a frustrating thing to live with.

I’m always worried about these supplements being a scam. But if it’s helping people here, maybe I’ll look into it.

I’ve heard benfotiamine is better absorbed than regular B1. Might be why it actually worked for you.
