I’ve been struggling with that annoying high-pitched whistle and general muffled feeling for years. Being in my 60s, I just assumed it was part of getting older. I tried those expensive sound-masking devices and a few generic multivitamins from the drugstore, but nothing really changed the quality of my hearing.
About four months ago, I decided to try something more specific for my auditory health. I started using ZenCortex (i buy here), which are liquid drops. I was skeptical because I’ve been burned by supplements before, but the blend of grape seed and maca root seemed interesting to me.
Here is how it went:
-
Month 1: Honestly, I didn’t feel much. I almost quit because I’m impatient. It’s definitely a slow process and you have to stay consistent.
-
Month 2: I noticed I wasn’t asking my grandkids to repeat themselves as often during our weekly calls. The fuzziness in my left ear started to lift slightly.
-
Month 3: This was the turning point. Using ZenCortex daily became a habit. The background ringing didn’t disappear entirely, but it became much easier to tune out.
What I like is that it’s easy to take—just a few drops. Compared to the bulky hearing aids I tried and hated wearing, this feels more like supporting my body from the inside. However, it isn’t a miracle cure. I still have bad days if I don’t sleep well or if I’m around loud machinery for too long. Also, the progress isn’t linear; I had a week in month two where I felt like I regressed. If you’re looking for an overnight fix, ZenCortex probably isn’t for you. It’s about long-term support and being patient with your body’s healing process.

I’ve been on ZenCortex for two months now and the difference in my tinnitus is night and day. Glad to see it’s working for you too.

Did you find it better to take the drops in the morning or evening? I’m thinking about starting a similar routine.
I’m always a bit wary of supplements. Have you checked with your doctor about the maca root? I heard it can affect blood pressure.

Consistency is definitely key. I also find that cutting back on caffeine helps with the internal noise quite a bit.

How long did it take for the shipping? I live in a rural area and sometimes these things take weeks to arrive.
Adding ZenCortex to my morning coffee was the best move I made this year for my ear health. It really helps with that brain fog too.
I agree with the OP, ZenCortex took a while to kick in, but my focus is much sharper now. It’s not a magic pill but it definitely helps.

I tried hearing aids for a year and they just amplified everything, even the background noise I wanted to ignore. I might give this approach a shot instead.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed timeline. It’s helpful to know it takes a few months to see real results.

Does it have a strong taste? I struggle with liquid supplements if they taste like chemicals.

Just remember everyone’s body chemistry is different. What works for one person might not work for another, especially with GABA.

Are you doing any other ear exercises or just the drops? I’ve heard some people swear by neck stretches for ear pressure.
The ‘muffled’ feeling is the worst. It makes you feel so isolated at parties. I’m glad you’re finding some relief.

You mentioned a plateau in month two. Did you increase the dosage or just stick with it?

I’ve found that keeping my allergies under control also helps with the ear fullness. It’s usually a combination of things.

Just finished my third bottle of ZenCortex and I’m finally not dreading loud restaurants anymore. The clarity is much better.
