How I finally managed to jumpstart my slow metabolism

I’ve spent the last three years fighting a losing battle with the scale.

Once I hit my mid-forties, it felt like my body just decided to hold onto everything I ate, regardless of how much I cut back. I tried strict keto for six months, which worked initially but left me feeling completely drained and irritable. Then I moved to intermittent fasting, but the 16:8 window just made me obsess over my next meal. Honestly, I was extremely skeptical about adding any kind of supplement to the mix. Most of what I see online looks like rebranded caffeine pills or expensive water weight fixes that don’t actually do anything for your long-term health. I expected to feel jittery or just waste fifty bucks, but I was desperate enough to try something different.

About four months ago, I started using CitrusBurn (i buy here - usually best price) as part of a more moderate approach. I liked that it didn’t have those harsh stimulants or injections that everyone seems to be talking about lately. For the first two weeks, I didn’t notice much of a change, which actually made me trust it more—it wasn’t some weird flush. By week four, I realized I wasn’t hitting that afternoon wall where I usually crave sugar. My energy levels felt more even throughout the day. Over the course of twelve weeks, I’ve steadily lost about 14 pounds. It wasn’t a dramatic overnight transformation, but for the first time in years, the numbers are actually moving down instead of just fluctuating.

The biggest difference for me is the lack of side effects. I can take it in the morning and still sleep perfectly fine at night. I’m still walking 30 minutes a day and keeping my protein high, but it seems to have provided that extra push my metabolism needed. It’s not a replacement for a decent diet, but it definitely made the effort I was putting in actually show results. If you’re struggling with that stuck feeling, it might be worth a look, though obviously check with your doctor first if you have underlying issues.

I’ve been on CitrusBurn for about two months now and the lack of jitters is the best part. I actually feel like my clothes fit better without that heart-racing feeling I get from coffee.

Same here. I started CitrusBurn after my sister recommended it. It took a while to kick in, but I’m down 8 pounds without changing much else. It’s nice to find something natural that actually does what it says.

I was worried about the natural claim being weak, but CitrusBurn actually helped me break a three-month plateau. Definitely worth the patience if you’re over 40.

Congrats on the progress. 14 pounds in 12 weeks is exactly the kind of sustainable pace that actually stays off. Slow and steady wins.

Are you still doing the intermittent fasting along with this or did you go back to regular meal times?

I’m looking at a few different options right now. How did you decide on this specific one over some of the more popular herbal extracts or the newer prescription stuff?

I’ve tried a few things and usually it’s just the placebo effect. But to be fair, if you’re also walking 30 mins a day, that’s doing a lot of the heavy lifting too.

I actually looked into those prescription options, but I really didn’t want to deal with the potential side effects or the needle aspect. I chose CitrusBurn because it felt like a more sustainable way to support what I was already doing without forcing my body into an extreme state. Plus, it was way more affordable than the big-name medical brands.

If you’re keeping your protein high like you mentioned, that’s probably helping a ton with the sugar cravings too. Keep it up.

Thanks for sharing this. It’s encouraging to hear from someone in the same age bracket dealing with the same metabolic slowdown.

Does it matter what time of day you take it? I’ve heard some of these work better if taken right before a meal.
