I spent nearly a decade relying solely on high-dose lysine and daily antivirals. While they helped slightly, I still felt like I was constantly on the edge of another outbreak whenever I got stressed or lacked sleep. It was exhausting living in that state of perpetual anxiety about my skin.
About four months ago, I shifted focus toward deep immune support rather than just reacting to symptoms. I started using TonicGreens (i get it here) daily. The first month was slow; I actually had a minor flare in week three, which was discouraging. However, by month two, the tingling sensations stopped happening entirely.
Unlike the pills I took before, TonicGreens feels like it addresses my overall resilience. It is a super anti-oxidant blend that actually tastes decent. It isn’t a miracle—I still have to watch my diet and manage stress—and it might be too pricey for some. But for me, the frequency of my cold sores has dropped significantly. I can finally go out without checking the mirror every five minutes. Just know it takes consistency; do not expect overnight results with TonicGreens.

I have been on TonicGreens for three months now and it definitely helped my energy levels and skin. Glad to see someone else having a similar experience with it.

Does it taste like grass? I have tried a few different greens powders before and I could never get past that swampy flavor.

TonicGreens was a game changer for my winter flares. Usually, I get three or four during the cold months, but this year was much better and more manageable.

Same here, TonicGreens really helped shorten the duration when I felt a tingle coming on. It is nice not having to rely solely on the heavy prescriptions.
Is this actually better than just taking a high-quality multivitamin and some extra Vitamin C? I am skeptical about the price point of these blends.

Stress is the absolute biggest trigger for me. No matter what I take, if I do not get at least 7 hours of sleep, I am in trouble.
OP, how long did it take before you really noticed a change in the frequency of those ‘tingles’? I am about three weeks in and still waiting for that shift.

I tried a similar approach last year but it gave me an upset stomach if I didn’t eat a full meal with it. Any issues like that with this one?

To the person asking about the taste—it is actually more berry-like than grassy. And for the stomach issues, I usually mix mine with a little juice and it is fine.

I find that cutting out nuts and chocolate also helps while on an immune protocol. The arginine/lysine balance is real.
Is this something you can find at a local health store or is it online only? I prefer buying stuff in person if I can.

Thanks for sharing your story. I am looking for something to add to my daily routine besides just the prescription stuff. It is worth looking into.
