I spent nearly two years trying heavy creams and basic B-complex vitamins for the constant numbness in my feet. Most of it just felt like a waste of money because the “electric” sensations at night never really stopped. I was basically ready to accept that this was just aging.
About four months ago, I decided to try a high-strength antioxidant approach instead. I started taking Nervala (ordered here) twice a day with my breakfast and dinner. The first three weeks were honestly discouraging—I didn’t feel any change at all. However, by the end of the second month, those sharp “zingers” that usually woke me up started to fade.
I did have a setback during month three when I ran out for a week, and the buzzing returned quickly. It taught me that consistency is key with Nervala. Now, in month four, I can actually stand in the kitchen long enough to cook a full meal without needing to sit down.
Is it a miracle? No. I still have some dullness, and it’s a bit pricey. But for me, the 600mg lipoic acid and benfotiamine combo in Nervala made a noticeable difference where other things failed.

Glad to hear you are getting some mobility back. Standing to cook is a huge win. Did you notice any stomach upset when you first started the higher dose of lipoic acid?
I tried a similar combo last year but it was so expensive. It’s hard to keep up with the cost when you’re on a fixed income, even if it does help a little.
The ‘zingers’ are the absolute worst. I’m currently using compression socks but they only do so much for the actual nerve feeling. Might have to look into this.
I’ve been on Nervala for about six months now and it really helped with the cold, icy feeling in my toes. It took a while to kick in though, so definitely stick with it.
Are you taking anything else with it? My doctor has me on a high dose of D3 as well for my legs.
I find that doing some light ankle stretches before bed also helps the supplements work better. Keeps the blood flowing.
Four months is a good trial period. Most people quit after two weeks because they expect an overnight fix. Patience is so hard when you’re in pain.
I’m only on week two of a similar regimen. Still waiting for that ‘fade’ you mentioned. Fingers crossed.
Nervala was the only thing that finally calmed my legs down enough to sleep through the night without waking up every two hours. It’s worth the price for the sleep alone.
