My teeth are slightly discolored, and I’m looking to brighten my smile before my wedding. Has anyone tried whitening powders like Oralmax? I’m skeptical about whether they’re worth the cost or just a waste. I’m curious if anyone has firsthand experience to share.

I’d recommend seeing a professional dentist for scaling or a whitening treatment. You’ll get much faster and more noticeable results that way.
I haven’t used powders myself, but I suggest trying Crest toothpaste paired with Listerine Cool Mint. It takes about two weeks to see a difference. If you need a quicker fix, Crest whitening strips are effective, though they can be quite pricey, around 10-15k.
As a dentist, I can tell you these are a scam. Avoid using powdered products to brush your teeth. They are extremely abrasive; while they might scrub off surface stains, they also wear down your enamel—the protective outer layer that prevents sensitivity and decay. Over time, this exposes the dentin underneath, which is naturally yellow. So, your teeth will actually look more yellow and become very sensitive. This damage is permanent and usually requires crowns or veneers to fix. Basically, stay away from them.
