Moving away from heavy oils for my complexion?

I spent years layering thick oils and expensive serums to fix my dry patches and the darkening around my jawline. Most products just sat on top of my skin or caused breakouts, which is frustrating when you’re 46 and still dealing with clogs.

About four months ago, I switched to a dual-action system called SYNERVA (usually discouted here). What felt different immediately was the absorption; it didn’t feel greasy or heavy. It uses those SYN-AKE peptides and biotin, which seemed more targeted for my age than just basic moisturizing.

By week three, my skin felt smoother. By month two, the dark spots were actually fading. Now at month four, the deeper lines around my eyes look softer. I can finally skip the heavy concealer in the mornings.

Caveats? It’s not a miracle. I had a slight plateau in month three where I didn’t see much change, and SYNERVA is definitely an investment compared to drugstore stuff. But for me, the results were worth the consistency.

I’ve been using SYNERVA for about six weeks now and the biotin really seems to help with my skin’s texture. Glad to see someone else having luck with it.

Did you find it worked well under makeup? I usually have issues with pilling when I use peptide serums.

I’m always wary of peptides. Some brands just use them for marketing. Glad it’s working for you though, 4 months is a good trial period.

Which part of your routine did you replace? Was it just the serum or the moisturizer too?

Consistency really is key at our age. I find if I skip even two days, my skin looks dull again.

I tried something similar last year but didn’t stick with it past a month. Maybe I should have given it longer like you did.
