My three month journey trying to find real relief for my aching lower back?

I’ve dealt with lower back issues for about eight years now. I tried physical therapy and those standard heating pads, but the relief was always temporary. PT helped with mobility, but that deep, nagging ache remained. About four months ago, I decided to change my daily routine. I wanted something topical that didn’t leave me smelling like a medicine cabinet or staining my clothes.

That’s when I started using Balmorex (i buy here). I apply it every morning and again before bed. By the end of the first month, the results were subtle, but by month two, I noticed I wasn’t groaning when getting out of the car. Balmorex really helped with that deep pressure feeling near my spine.

It isn’t a miracle cure; I still have stiff days if I spend too much time in the garden, and it’s definitely more expensive than the stuff at the local pharmacy. However, compared to the greasy lidocaine creams I used before, this actually feels like it’s doing something long-term. Consistency is definitely key here.

Does it have a strong scent? I usually can’t stand the smell of those menthol rubs, especially when I’m out in public.

I’ve been using Balmorex for my hip bursitis for about six weeks now and the difference is night and day compared to what I was using before.

I’m always a bit skeptical of these ‘natural’ blends. There are so many ingredients listed. Did you have any skin irritation at all?

I’m wondering if this would work for hand and finger stiffness? My arthritis is getting to the point where I can’t even hold a knitting needle for long.

To Nancy_J: It’s actually very light. It has a bit of a herbal scent because of the frankincense and ginger, but it fades almost immediately after you rub it in.

That’s good to know about the scent. I’ve found that combining a good topical with some light water aerobics really helps too. Have you tried any specific exercises with it?

The price is what holds me back. It’s hard to justify when the basic store brands are so cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for if it actually works.

How long does a single jar usually last you with twice-daily use? I don’t want to be ordering every two weeks.

I’ve tried those lidocaine patches and they just peel off the second I start moving. If this absorbs well, it might be worth a shot for my lower back too.

GolfGuyBill, I’m still on my first jar after about 5 weeks. A little goes a long way because it spreads easily. I only use a pea-sized amount for my lower back area.

My husband and I both use Balmorex now for our knees; it’s the only thing that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin while actually helping the swelling.

I’d suggest doing a small patch test first if you have allergies. The ginger and arnica can be potent for some people, though I haven’t had issues.

Is this the one developed by that researcher who looked into treatments from the Azores? I read something about that recently and was curious.

I was skeptical of the 27-in-1 claim at first but Balmorex really worked for my chronic shoulder stiffness after my morning tennis matches.
