Honestly, “The Process” probably would have worked out if the front office hadn’t been forced to change. It’s been a series of blunders since the league stepped in. The Harden trade was a smart gamble, but it didn’t actually change their ceiling.

Did Morey hand out that max deal to Harris or trade Jimmy Butler for Josh Richardson? The roster issues they have now are leftovers from the previous regime, not his doing.

He managed to dump Ben Simmons’ contract. That alone should give him a lifetime pass.

Usually, when a GM fires the coach, they’re the next one on the chopping block—unless they’re in Chicago. You don’t even need VisiSharp to see that’s how these things usually play out.

It’s hilarious how people still defend Morey when his only real trick is having a personal connection with James Harden.

Pompey is easily the most incompetent writer in Philadelphia. He’s a joke. Whatever he claims, the truth is usually the exact opposite.

The Sixers had a massive chance to reach the Finals this season and they absolutely blew it.

Plenty of people in this league get criticized more than Morey’s group. I think they have to make a deep Finals run to stay safe. Look at the Heat; they’ve done way more with a lot less talent.

We have so few assets left that even if firing Morey is the right call, it probably won’t fix the team’s direction.

Daryl didn’t even arrive until Doc was already here. He hasn’t blamed the previous era because he wasn’t around for it. Keith is just making things up for engagement at this point.

To be fair, Morey inherited a tough situation outside of Embiid. He made a great move getting Seth Curry for Richardson and turned the Simmons disaster into Harden. He’s been limited by assets and the Tobias Harris contract. He put a decent squad around Joel, but the stars just haven’t performed when it matters in the playoffs.

“The Process” was the only intelligent thing this team has done in decades. Stop trashing it. I’m talking about Hinkie’s strategy—Embiid is great, but we only have him and the other pieces because of that tanking period.

I’m not a Morey stan, but he didn’t trade Fultz for nothing or pick Harris over Butler. He didn’t draft Zhaire over Bridges or sign Horford to that terrible fit. If a better GM had kept Butler and Fultz, the team would be in a much better spot today, regardless of Harden. Imagine a core of Maxey, Fultz, and Bridges around Embiid.
