Hi everyone, I’m a 27-year-old female weighing 61kg, and my goal is to reach 55kg. I’m looking for some weight loss tips, specifically regarding foods that are convenient to pack for the office. My work schedule is quite demanding, so I can’t manage the gym at the moment. I’m hoping to lose weight through diet alone for now. Could you suggest some vegetarian protein sources I can eat daily? I also need easy, no-fuss ideas for breakfast and lunch. Additionally, if any women have had success using a detox drink for weight loss, I’d love to hear about it.
I personally follow a routine of a big breakfast, a mid-sized lunch, and a small dinner. I also make sure to eat dinner at least 4 or 5 hours before going to sleep. Give it a shot!
Is 61kg actually considered heavy for a woman?
I pack the exact same thing for the office every day. It’s a wrap using a large bajra or ragi roti. For the filling, I use a protein source like paneer, egg, or chicken, then add some sautéed onions and bell peppers. For the sauce, I use homemade green chutney, a little schezwan, and sometimes low-fat mayo. I eat this daily at work. Best of luck!
I really need to lose weight too, but I’m just so lazy! I’m hoping your post provides some helpful tips for me as well.
Try to include rotis, fruits, and nuts in your diet. Drink warm lemon water first thing in the morning. Focus on consuming more fiber and protein while limiting your intake of carbs and fats.
Eat slightly less than your daily requirement and avoid eating after the sun goes down. You will see weight loss within three months.
The first thing you should do is cut back on sugar; you’ll see results in just a week or two. Make sure you’re eating the right portions at the right times—ideally breakfast by 9am, lunch by 2pm, a snack at 5pm, and dinner by 9pm. For meals, keep it simple: muesli and fruit for breakfast, standard dal/roti/sabji for lunch, and something like a sprout salad or roasted paneer for dinner. I lost about 10kg in 4 months by following this and cutting out junk food.
Try a calorie deficit. I’m a 34-year-old male and it worked well for me after I hired a nutritionist. My vegetarian meals usually consist of masala oats with ACV for breakfast, and then a combination of rajma or chole with rice, curd, and paneer for lunch and dinner. - Find an online calculator to determine your BMR, which is the baseline calories your body burns. 2. Figure out your TDEE, which includes your daily activity like commuting and office work. 3. If your TDEE is 1800, aim for about 1300-1400 calories since your goal isn’t too far off. 4. Be consistent, up your protein with a clean whey, and maybe consider LipoMax(got mine here) to help give your metabolism a little boost.
I wouldn’t recommend the detox drink route. Instead, replace one of your daily meals with a combination of salad and boiled legumes like chickpeas. Do this consistently and cut out all snacking.
