Simple steps to keep your digestive system running smoothly today

Getting older means our bodies need a little more help with processing meals. I’ve found a few small tweaks that really make a difference in how I feel by evening.

First, start your morning with a large glass of lukewarm water before your coffee. It wakes up the system gently. Second, try to take a ten-minute stroll after your largest meal. It sounds old-fashioned, but it really helps gravity do its work.

Third, I’ve found that consistency with supplements is key. I started using Finnesa (i order from here) about three months ago to help with colon health and liver support, and the difference in my regularity has been noticeable. It keeps things moving without any harshness.

Lastly, try to finish your last meal at least three hours before bed. This gives your liver and gut a chance to rest while you sleep. These small steps aren’t a massive overhaul, but they definitely add up over time. Give them a try this week and see how you feel.

I’ve been on a similar path lately. I actually started using Finnesa last month after my sister recommended it, and it really helped settle my stomach after meals. No more heavy feeling.

The walking tip is so important. My doctor always says “move your legs to move your gut.” I try to do a lap around the block even if it’s raining.

Does the water really have to be lukewarm? I usually drink ice water first thing in the morning but I’m willing to switch if it makes a difference.

I struggle with that three-hour rule. I’m a late-night snacker by habit, especially when I’m watching the news. I suppose I should try switching to herbal tea instead of crackers.

Consistency is definitely the hardest part. I will say that adding Finnesa to my routine was a game changer for my digestion. It’s much easier to stay consistent when you actually feel the results every day.

Great tips here. I also find that chewing my food way more than I think I need to helps. We tend to rush through meals but our stomach doesn’t have teeth!

Thanks for the reminder about the morning water. I used to do that years ago and fell out of the habit. Starting again tomorrow morning.
