Stopping the spread to my other toes

For years, I dealt with that annoying cycle where my skin would clear up for a week and then the peeling would start right back up between my pinky toes.

Eventually, it moved into my big toe nail, making it look yellow and brittle. I tried the usual drug store antifungal creams, but they felt greasy and never seemed to penetrate the nail. I even went through a phase of soaking my feet in vinegar and using straight tea tree oil, but that just left my skin incredibly dry and irritated without fixing the actual problem.

I decided to change my approach to something that focused on the skin’s barrier as much as the fungus itself. I started using ProNail Complex (i get it here, discounted!) daily after my shower. What I liked about this specific formula was that it felt more like a nourishing oil blend rather than a harsh chemical treatment. It has specific oils and vitamins that help with skin resistance and nail health. After about six weeks of being consistent, the new nail growth started looking much clearer. The skin on my soles doesn’t feel like sandpaper anymore either. Just remember that consistency is key with these things; you can’t skip days and expect it to work. It’s not a miracle cure, but it definitely helped me get things under control finally.

I’ve been using ProNail Complex for a month now and the texture of my nails is way better. It doesn’t happen overnight but the improvement is noticeable.

Tea tree oil really is the worst for drying out skin. I had to stop using it too because my heels started cracking from the dryness.

I agree about the consistency. ProNail Complex works but you have to stick with it every single night or you just lose progress.

My doctor actually mentioned a similar oil-based approach. ProNail Complex helped my athlete’s foot clear up faster than the sprays I used to buy.

Does it leave a residue on your socks? That’s always my biggest issue with using any kind of oil on my feet.

How did you decide on this over those medicated lacquers? I’m trying to figure out if I should go the oil route or the paint-on stuff.

Keeping your feet dry is 90% of the battle. I started wearing moisture-wicking socks and it changed everything for my recovery.

I’m still in the vinegar soak phase. It’s such a pain to do every night and the smell lingers in the bathroom forever.

Glad to hear you’re seeing progress. It takes so long for nails to grow out that it’s easy to get discouraged in the first month.

Anyone tried using a UV shoe sanitizer too? I wonder if that helps prevent reinfection while you’re treating the nails.
