Why cutting carbs wasn't enough for my glucose?

I spent two years obsessing over keto and intermittent fasting. I lost some weight, but my A1C barely budged, and I felt constantly drained. It felt like I was fighting my own biology every single morning. I realized my digestion was sluggish and my body just wasn’t processing things right regardless of my carb intake.

About four months ago, I shifted focus toward gut health and started using SugarMute (ordered here). The first two weeks were rough—I had some bloating and a slight plateau. But by month two, my energy finally stabilized. I wasn’t crashing after lunch or feeling that brain fog anymore.

What I like about SugarMute is that it uses ingredients like psyllium and acidophilus to target the gut bacteria that affect insulin sensitivity. By the third month, my fasting numbers were finally in the range my doctor wanted.

It isn’t a magic pill. I still have to watch my portions, and if I miss a dose, I notice it. But compared to just starving myself of carbs, SugarMute feels like it’s actually fixing the underlying issue. It took patience, but it worked for me.

Did the bloating go away quickly? I’ve had issues with fiber supplements before and usually give up after a few days.

I’m always wary of ‘natural’ fixes. Did your doctor actually sign off on this or are you just tracking it yourself?

Keto was a nightmare for my digestion too. I think we overlook how much the gut matters when we’re just counting carbs.

Which ingredients specifically helped? I see psyllium mentioned a lot for sugar control but haven’t tried a blend like that.

I take mine right before breakfast, seems to help with the midday slump. Timing really matters with these things.

I started SugarMute last month after seeing a similar post. My post-meal spikes are much lower now, definitely worth a try.

How long does one bottle last? I’m tired of buying things that only last a week and then having to reorder constantly.

The research on gut bacteria and insulin is actually pretty solid lately. Zurich and Harvard have some interesting papers on it.

Just remember you still need to walk and stay active. No supplement replaces movement, even if it helps the internal stuff!

Can confirm SugarMute worked for me too. It took about six weeks to really see the difference in my numbers, but the consistency is key.
